IQ Driving School is happy to provide teen drivers in North Wales with designed lessons that focus on the problems that drivers face today. Apply for a Learner’s Permit
Start by visiting your local PennDOT office with a completed Non-Commercial Learner’s Permit Application (DL-180) and other required documents.
Pass the Knowledge and Vision Tests
At PennDOT, teens must take a written knowledge test on road signs and traffic laws, along with a standard vision screening.
Practice Supervised Driving
With a permit, teens must log at least 65 hours of supervised driving (including 10 at night and 5 in poor weather) over six months.
Take the Road Test at PennDOT
Once the supervised hours are complete, teens can schedule their road test to demonstrate safe, skillful driving under exam conditions.
Receive the Junior Driver’s License
Upon passing, PennDOT issues a junior license that graduates into a full license with continued safe driving and time.
